Is it too warm in your home and hard to cool down?
Is your cooling bill extremely high in the summer?
Then you will benefit by having a roof mounted powered vent (roof fan) installed!
Lower the cost of your cooling bill this summer and reduce the amount of humidity in your attic the rest of the year by installing an electric roof vent!
Then save money on your electric bill continuously after installation from now on every year!
Temperatures can reach up to 150 degrees in poorly vented attics!
Excessive heat and humidity can damage the wood rafters, roof decking, cause nails to come loose (nail pops) from extreme temperature variation causing excess contraction & expansion of wood, premature shingle failure, cracks in drywall tape joints, damage stored things in attic; even promote fires!
We will install a new electric powered roof vent from scratch, or replace an existing burnt out power vent including hooking up the electricity to it! The labor is $475.00 for new installations or $375.00 for replacements. (Ask us about our solar power vent option).
We install the GAF ERV6 1500 CFM electric power vent bought at Home Depot.
Simple static vents, turtle back vents, or ridge vents do not provide nearly enough ventilation. Shingled type and metal type ridge vents are both leak prone and do not provide very efficient ventilation.
Originally, ridge vents were designed for the sole purpose of providing ventilation for vaulted (cathedral) ceilings. We do not install turbine vents because they leak through the blades on the top, especially if they stop spinning. If you have an open attic type designed roof structure, electric powered vents are much more effective at removing hot air from attics than ridge vents, etc..
We guarantee our roof mounted power vent installations for two years.
Really with very few exceptions every home should have electric power vents (roof fans) installed!
Warning: Do not allow an electrician, homeowner, or other inexperienced person try to install your new power vent on the roof surface for you. This would be very dangerous for them and the new power vent would probably leak, not function properly, etc..
When your central air conditioner has to work harder because it's too hot in your attic, it uses a lot more electricity than necessary. But cool your attic down with a powered roof vent fan and your air conditioner, which uses a whole lot of electricity, does not have to run nearly as often. It can save you a substantial amount of money on your electric bill!
We love to help our customers solve their roof issues!
